Display
The Photographer may display any photographs included in this contract in his studio, web site, portfolio, literature, display areas, exhibitions, competitions, advertising or slide shows. Reorders All reorders shall be treated as an extension of this contract and no responsibility for error will be accepted unless orders are given in writing.
Copyright
Any images or copies of images whether stored digitally or otherwise and any computer program including any source or object code, computer files or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically/electronically or by any other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of The Photographer/s in writing.
Right to Privacy
A person who, for private and domestic purposes, commissions the taking of a photograph has, where copyright subsists in the resulting work, the right not to have the work or copies of the work made available to the public. Licence The Photographer/s shall be granted artistic licence in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used (if outside location requested by the client). The Photographers judgement regarding the locations/poses and number of images taken shall be deemed correct. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested.
Free 8x10 image
To claim your free 8x10 image you must first make a purchase of any product in our photography range.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers issued by Life Through a Lenz Photography are valid for one calendar year from the issue date. The expiry date will be written onto the voucher at the time of purchase. All studio sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. If using a voucher to book a studio session the unique voucher code(s) must be quoted at the time of booking in order to secure the session.
Sessions bookings secured with gift vouchers are subject to the same cancellation criteria as outlined elsewhere in these terms and conditions. If a session secured with a gift voucher is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, the voucher(s) will be used to cover the cancellation fee. Life Through a Lenz Photography gift vouchers cannot be used for any part of the booking fee for bookings made under the Click Group schemes. The original voucher must be surrendered at the start of a the session or when ordering printed products. Photocopies of vouchers will not be accepted. Vouchers cannot be accepted retrospectively. No change can be given where the voucher value is in excess of the purchase made. Life Through a Lenz Photography gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Prices
All prices indicated either on our website, or in printed literature are correct at time of release but we cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions on our part.
Refreshments
We provide complementary refreshments for all our shoots. You may be lucky enough to find some handmade baked goodies to go with your tea, coffee or juice, however whilst we do not use nut products, we cannot guarantee that the products are nut free. We are unable to cater for specific allergies.
A complementary alcoholic beverage might be included. It is up to the persons accepting this beverage to take into consideration whether they are in a suitable situation to accept and consume alcohol. Life Through a Lenz supports responsible drinking and in no way would support the consumption of alcohol and then that person attempting to drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery.
Complaints
Any complaints should first be raised by the Client with the Studio in writing within 21 days from the date of receipt of images. In the unlikely event of an unresolved complaint the Client may request the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers to mediate but only on the basis that its decision shall be final and binding upon both parties.
